I offer you a very simple recipe for sour cream cookies. The cookies are thin and sugary, so crunch lovers do not pass by. Cookies are stored for a long time and are very convenient to take with you on the road.

  • Crispy Sour Cream Cookies: recipe

      150 gr sour cream;
    • 100g butter or margarine;
    • 100g sugar;
    • 300-350g flour;
    • 1 tsp baking powder or 0.5 tsp. soda slaked with vinegar;
    • vanillin or vanilla sugar;
    • sugar for dusting cookies.

    Softened butter rubbed with sugar (in the photo I slightly overheated the butter in the microwave, but this did not affect the result). Add sour cream, vanillin (or vanilla sugar), flour to the mixture, loosen. Knead the dough. Roll the dough into a ball, cover with a bag and refrigerate for at least half an hour.

    After the dough has cooled, you need to roll it out in a thin layer of 3-5 mm (the thinner the layer, the thinner and crispier the cookies will be). While rolling, sprinkle the dough with sugar and press it into the dough with a roller.

    After cut the cookies into squares, or use curly molds. I don't have molds at the moment.turned out, so I cut the dough with a pizza cutter.

    Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a very hot oven. These sour cream cookies are baked very quickly - 7-10 minutes, so do not go far from the oven: it has the unpleasant property of burning at the most inopportune moment :)

    Take out cookies, cool and eat with milk or tea.
