When I first heard about chicken with honey, I thought that it must be something terrible :) I decided to experiment for a long time, but when I tried it, I didn’t regret it at all! The chicken has tender meat and a crispy fried crust. Now I cook this recipe very often.

Don't be afraid, the meat won't be sweet. Honey gives a subtle sweetness and a very appetizing crust.

Usually I make chicken with honey and mustard, but sometimes I add dark soy sauce as a third component - it also turns out very tasty.

  • To cook chicken with honey you will need:

      fresh chicken;
    • honey;
    • mustard;
    • s alt.

    Cut and s alt the chicken. We are preparing the marinade. Mix equal amounts of honey and table mustard. The mixture, despite the density of honey, will turn out to be very liquid. We coat the chicken and let it stand for about half an hour, periodically pouring over the flowing mixture.

    After that, put the chicken on a baking sheet and put it in a well-heated oven. Bake for about an hour over medium heat.

    Don't forget to check the chicken, because honey contains sugar, the crust tends to burn :) If the crust is fried, but the chicken is not yetready, cover it with a piece of foil.
