Scones are a traditional English pastry for tea drinking. These fragrant and delicious things will not leave anyone indifferent!

Today I offer a recipe for English scones with cranberries and orange zest.

Ingredients:

    • Kefir - two glasses;
    • Orange zest - 20 grams;
    • Cranberries - 150 grams;
    • Butter - seventy grams;
    • Sugar - forty grams;
    • Pinch of s alt;
    • Baking powder dough - 40 grams;
    • Flour - two glasses.

    Preparation: Mix sugar with flour and s alt, add baking powder and crushed orange zest. Stir in the oil, pour in the kefir and add the cranberries.

    Knead the dough (but not for long), roll out the layer into three centimeters, cut it into 8 pieces with triangles. Line a baking sheet with paper, place the prepared cookies at a distance from each other, brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake the scones for twenty minutes until golden.
