If you are choosing a menu for the New Year's table, be sure to include this fragrant festive dish in it. Chicken with oranges is such that guests are ready to lick their fingers. Of course, the family can be pampered with this magical dish not only on New Year's Eve. But it is on the holiday that you want something unusual. Perhaps tasting citrus-flavoured chicken will make you realize that you have a new favorite dish.

The recipe is surprisingly simple. It is good because exotic ingredients are not required for cooking, and chicken meat is inexpensive. As a result, you get a dish worthy of the best restaurants at minimal cost. If you are embarrassed by the need to add orange jam to the dish, then it is quite possible to get by with the juice of fresh oranges.

  • Chicken fillet;
  • S alt, pepper;
  • Soy sauce;
  • Garlic;
  • Ground ginger;
  • Sesame;
  • Orange jam (or fresh oranges).

  • Grease the pan with oil, place the chicken fillet seasoned with s alt and pepper in it. In a separate bowl, mix orange jam (jam or juice of one orange and a fewcitrus circles), soy sauce, minced garlic and ginger.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken generously, but be sure to leave a couple of spoons in reserve.
  • Cover and simmer over moderate heat until half cooked.
  • At this time, toast the sesame seeds a little in a hot frying pan, this will take about 30 seconds.
  • To make the chicken brown slightly, open the lid at the end of cooking.
  • Transfer cooked chicken to a plate, drizzle with orange marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

This way you can cook any part of the chicken, such as breast or ham. Ready-made chicken in an orange marinade goes well with a side dish of rice or potatoes. You can experiment with spices, if it seems to you that something is missing in the taste palette, then feel free to add your favorite spice.
