Mushroom Meadow Salad is the perfect treat for any holiday table. The New Year's celebration is no exception, where a delicious dish decorated with champignons will become a welcome guest! It will bring a touch of variety to the usual menu for this holiday. Indeed, along with traditional dishes, something non-standard, but very tasty, should also be served.

“Mushroom meadow” looks surprisingly elegant. With its excellent appearance, the salad reminds of a distant summer, when greens and mushrooms grow wildly. It will make a wonderful contrast with the traditional New Year's Olivier and Herring under a fur coat. Guests will be delighted with a beautiful, tasty and hearty salad with Korean carrots and ham!


  • canned champignons - 150 g;
  • potatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • “Korean” carrot - 100g;
  • ham - 200 g;
  • pickles - 2-4 pieces;
  • hard cheese - 100-120 g;
  • mayonnaise - 150 g;
  • dill and green onion - 1 bunch.


You should take high-quality champignons in canned food. They areshould be approximately the same size and have no damage to the caps.

Put the mushrooms legs up in any suitable dish. The bottom of the container should be flat so that the upside-down salad has the correct shape as a result. You can pre-line the bottom and walls of the dishes for making salad with cling film. But even without this, the salad is perfectly laid out on the dish! Then you should chop green onions, dill sprigs, sprinkle them between the champignons.

Boil potatoes until tender, cool, peel, and then grate on a coarse grater over mushrooms and herbs. It is best to boil potatoes in advance so that the assembly of the salad does not take much time.

Smear the surface with a thin layer of mayonnaise. “Mushroom meadow” and without a lot of mayonnaise it will turn out juicy.

S alted cucumbers must be finely chopped, carefully put on top of a layer of mayonnaise. If the cucumbers are large, then 1-2 pieces are enough.

Next, chop the ham and place in a bowl with salad.

Put Korean-style carrots on top of the ham, smooth it out.

Smear with the rest of the mayonnaise.

Grate hard cheese.

Put the salad in the fridge for a couple of hours. During this time, it will be saturated with mayonnaise and when turning it over onto a dish, there will be noproblems.
